Le Blush Crème de Chanel in Chamade (67)

Out of the beauty products that Chanel released for Spring 2014, one blush stood out and caught my eye. The two blushes that are in this collection are Intonation and Chamade. While Intonation is a very beautiful, natural color, Chamade bold and is unlike anything I already have. It is described as a “deep pink” but it definitely has some red tones. It is a cream to powder formula and is very easy to blend.

I was skeptical that this color would work for me. I was not sure if my fair skin and this bold blush would complement each other. However, because this blush can be easily blended on your cheeks and sheered out, it works well. I only need to tap my finger about 3-4 times in the pan to get enough product for one cheek. Needless to say, it is very pigmented! This blush has great staying powder and lasts nearly all day for me. The only downside I have noticed is that it enhanced some dry spots I had on my cheeks.
See how it sheers out?
Overall, I think this is a great product if you would like to splurge on a spring blush. This product would be great for those with darker skin tones but also works for those with lighter skin tones if you blend it out. Let me know what your favorite springtime blushes are!

Stay Blushing,
Nicole

P.S. I told myself that this is the only blush I would buy for a good while...but have you seen the Hourglass Ambient Lighting blushes for spring? I cannot wait until they are released in February. They look gorgeous!
