I was Attracted Like a Magnet to the MAC Magnetic Nude Collection

I was very excited to get my hands on some of these products in this collection. The MAC Magnetic Nude Collection combines the metallic trend with very wearable and flattering colors. This post will give a brief description of the different items of the collection according to the MAC Cosmetics website and then I will show you what I picked up towards the end. Here we go!

Extra Dimension Eye Shadow ($19.50)

Now here is what I picked up from the collection:

 

 -Extra Dimension Eye Shadow in A Natural Flirt
          I was not expected to be blown away by this eyeshadow when looking at swatches online from other bloggers, however when I swatched it at the store I fell in love. It gave the most beautiful and subtle metallic finish that is perfect for an all over lid color and brow highlighter.  

-Tinted Lipglass in Oh My Darling and Steel Kiss

           Oh My Darling seems perfect for whenever you want to keep your lips simple but still be glamorous. I could not pass up Steel Kiss because I thought the color was so unique. It is such an interesting dirty purple color with a very fine shimmer.

-Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Superb 

          This one definitely stood out to me because although I thought it would make a beautiful highlighter, I saw it also doubling as an eyeshadow.

Obviously I picked up the items that I thought would best suit my skin tone. There are some really unique colors in this collection. One that I did not purchase but would like to mention is the eye shadow in Amorous Alloy. This color stands out in the collection and I think would look great on other skin tones (I feel that I am too fair to pull this one off). I think the Extra Dimension Skinfinishes take the cake in this collection (and maybe it is because I am a sucker for highlighters). The color and finish of all three are stunning and all can easily be used as eye shadows as well.
